Please join host Richard Meredith on Sunday, Sept. 13th at 2:00 p.m. for our Crime Time hour with local crime writers as we discuss the trials, tribulations, and joys of the writing process. And a $25 gift card to Crawford's Books will be given away to one lucky attendee!

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or struggling through your first draft, it’s a great chance to network with fellow writers and maybe get a few questions answered. Enjoy the company of others who can’t resist the lure of (fictional) crime!

Please join us on Friday, October 9th from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. for a tour of the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office Public Safety Facility.

The 24 acre facility was completed in 2019. It contains five buildings including:

The Main Building - Includes most operations, gym, locker room, dispatch, and much more.
The Morgue - Includes two autopsy suites and lab.
The Brian Ishmael Shooting Range - 50 yards, 10-lanes all indoor.
The Special Operations/Training building - Classroom, mat room, and more.
The Property Warehouse/CSI Lab - Includes processing and preservation of evidence.

After the tour join us for lunch at a local eatery.
